Traveling Meat Manager Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced, versatile, and reliable Meat Manager. The ideal candidate should possess expert knowledge in meat handling and commit to maintaining our standard of quality across different settings.
Key Responsibilities for Traveling Meat Manager: - Meat Cutting and Processing: Efficiently and safely cut and process beef, pork, and poultry, ensuring minimal waste.
- Quality Control: Inspect meat products for defects, bruises, or blemishes and ensure only the highest quality products are displayed.
- Inventory Management: Work closely with the store management to ensure inventory is maintained, rotated, and fresh. Inform about the stock requirements and manage the timely replenishment.
- Sanitation and Safety: Ensure all tools and the working area adhere to cleanliness standards and safety regulations. Regularly maintain and sharpen tools.
- Customer Service: Offer assistance and recommendations to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Collaboration: Work with other departments to ensure seamless operations and participate in cross-training when required.
Qualifications for Traveling Meat Manager: - Proven experience as a meat cutter, butcher, or relevant role.
- Knowledge of meat products, quality, and cuts.
- Ability to handle machinery and tools required for the job.
- Willingness to travel to various rural locations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Compliance with all food safety protocols and regulations.
