Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatrics ER - Emergency Room for a travel nursing job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Job Details:

\n

• Work 12-hour mid shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
\n• 36 guaranteed hours per week (facility will also consider 48 hours)
\n• 2 weekends per month rotation required
\n• Holiday rotation every other holiday
\n• Float requirements include sitting for patients without performing inpatient nursing duties
\n• No on-call or call-back requirements
\n• Must have completed a successful travel contract previously
\n• 1-2 years minimum experience with Emergency Department and pediatrics required
\n• Level I Trauma experience preferred
\n• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license, BLS, PALS
\n• Preferred certifications: ACLS, TNCC
\n• Associate Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
\n• EPIC charting system highly preferred
\n• Flu vaccine required or willing to obtain
\n• Care for pediatric emergency department patients including assessment, medication administration, teaching, wound care, EKG, vital signs, and mental/behavioral health care
\n• Work in fast-paced 50-bed Level 1 emergency department seeing 200-280 visits per day
\n• Handle both low and high acuity cases with majority being low acuity
\n• Work with ED techs and nurses in split department areas including fast track and higher acuity areas
\n• Professional scrubs required in any color
\n• Maintain professional appearance with jewelry and tattoos meeting safety and professional standards

This pediatric healthcare facility operates a Level 1 trauma center with a 50-bed emergency department that maintains an efficient, fast-paced environment. The facility sees high patient volumes with 200-280 visits daily and utilizes a team-based approach with nurses, ED techs, and care partners. The emergency department features specialized areas including a fast track section and higher acuity care areas, providing comprehensive emergency medical services specifically designed for pediatric patients.
