Location (Onsite, Remote, or Hybrid?): Milwaukee, WI (ONSITE)Contract Duration: 13 weeks Working Hours: 7PM - 7:30AM Total Weekly Hours: 36 Job: (1) Acute Care Pediatric RNs – 12 Hour Nights Shifts Guaranteed hours: 36Contract length: 13 weeks Unit Information: West 9 Unit - 24 beds – General Surgery, Urology, Burn, and Medical Shift Requirements: 12-hour night shifts; 7p-7:30am Float Requirements: yes, travelers will be the first to float to another Patient Care Unit if there is a need to float. Weekend requirements: every other weekend Holiday requirement: Holiday commitment will be to work Thanksgiving and potentially one of the two following holidays; Christmas or New Years, based on the patient care needs as determined by the West 9 leadership team. Night shift holidays require working the night before the holiday and the night shift on the day of the holiday. On call/Call Back: N/A Call-Off Policy: Client can terminate contract with 2 weeks’ notice if census dictates. Required certs to be attached upon submittal: WI or Compact RN License and AHA BLS Minimum experience: 2 years’ pediatric inpatient hospital experience. Education: ADN, BSN preferred EMR: Epic experience highly preferred Scrub Colors: Any professional scrubs Orientation: 3 days - 1st day modules and unit overview with orientation coordinator and 2 days with a preceptor. Jewelry (body piercing/body adornment): A single small stud is now permitted to be worn in the nose. No other visible body piercings (e.g. tongue, eyebrow, lips and gauges) are acceptable (except ear piercings). Flesh colored or clear piercing plugs may now be worn. **Flu vaccine required.
