About the Clinician's WorkdayThis position seeks full-time coverage for spine surgery due to two current surgeons transitioning to hospital-based roles. The role focuses on clinic and surgical careno ED call is required. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 Sign up or sign in for contact information:30 p.m., with morning and afternoon clinic sessions. Multiple providers may share the schedule. Surgeries take place at Crouse Hospital and St. Josephs Hospital, neither of which are trauma centers. Candidates must be board-certified in orthopedics and experienced in spine surgery; clinic volume is about 22 patients per half day, with surgical volume based on clinic findings. Four APPs support the spine service, Allscripts is used for EMR, and NY state licensure is required, with credentialing needed as soon as possible.
