Senior Accountant / Assistant Controller

Job Title:  Senior Accountant or Assistant Controller  
Job Location: Boise, ID
Salary: $100k-$120k

What You'll Do

As a Senior Accountant / Assistant Controller, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting operational excellence. Core responsibilities include:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead key aspects of the month-end close (accruals, reconciliations, journal entries).
• Reconcile general and sub ledgers across multiple entities.
• Maintain and oversee general ledger coding across divisions.
• Analyze financial results and variances; provide insights to leadership.
• Compile monthly Work-In-Progress (WIP) schedules and ensure proper revenue recognition.
• Manage company credit card system and ERP administration.
• Support project accountants and collaborate across divisions.
• Ensure compliance with tax filings and union contributions.

What You Need

• 3+ years of corporate accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
• GAAP.
• ERP system experience (Viewpoint, Sage, etc.) a plus.
• Construction or real estate industry background a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
