Optimize Google Business Profiles & manage client citations. Conduct keyword research to identify optimization opportunities. Optimize website content, metadata, and structure to align with SEO best practices. Execute on‑page and technical SEO strategies to enhance website performance. Use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush to track SEO performance. Create regular reports detailing traffic, rankings, and key metrics. Identify trends and recommend adjustments to improve results. Create monthly reporting videos to explain KPIs and campaign performance to clients. Regularly communicate with clients via email, phone calls, and Google Meet to address questions, provide updates, and offer suggestions for improvements. Coach clients on best practices for optimizing their website’s results. Explore new search‑related processes and improvements (AI Focus). Collaborate with team members on projects to move the department forward. Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic discussions. Work with the content and development teams to ensure SEO guidelines are met. Assist in link‑building campaigns and outreach efforts. Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm updates, and SEO best practices. Complete certifications and trainings through online courses. Adapt to new tools and technologies to improve service effectiveness. Workload split is dependent on candidate strength/ability and company need. Content writing and SEO blog production: use keyword research tools to identify informational keywords (KD ≤ 30, search volume ≥ 150) relevant to client industries; write and format two SEO‑optimized blog posts per client per month, ensuring Yoast SEO and readability standards before publishing. Create supporting blog graphics or coordinate with the design team as needed. Website design & management: manage and oversee website design, development, and transfer; experiment with new website builders and design strategies; optimize website performance, security, and user experience; manage website hosting for clients and resolve technical issues. Assist with other digital marketing related tasks as needed. Requirements Must be a Tampa Bay Area resident for this remote position. Basic understanding of SEO principles and techniques. Understanding of WordPress, Google Business Profiles, and other platforms. Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush or Ahrefs. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Effective communication and organizational abilities. Fluent and articulate writing and communication skills, including the ability to take client meetings and phone calls. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced environment. 1 year of SEO experience through internships, study programs, previous roles, etc. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with industries we serve (e.g., home services, healthcare, legal, and wedding vendors). Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate: $20/hour. Candidates with experience may be eligible for an increased starting rate. Raises and bonuses: Revisited quarterly based on measurable performance improvements (e.g., service performance, client retention). Not guaranteed. Schedule: Full‑time, hourly. Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.
