Job Description

At Voloridge Investment Management we write custom software applications to process high-bandwidth data streams and evaluate decisions within critically defined time constraints. As a Product Management Intern, you will be an integral part of our product team, working closely with the Product Managers to contribute to the development and enhancement of our product portfolio. You will be exposed to various aspects of product management, including market research, competitive analysis, product planning, and launch strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Summary of Job Functions

• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings in the industry
• Collaborate with Product Managers to define product requirements, specifications, and features based on market research and customer feedback
• Assist in the development of product roadmaps, including prioritizing features and creating timelines
• Participate in the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring key milestones are met

Minimum Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software, Engineering or related discipline
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret complex information
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong project management capabilities
• Experience with Python / R / C / C++ / bash / Linux tools
• Onsite preferred (Jupiter, FL). Housing and transportation provided where applicable

Preferred Skills and Previous Experience

• Completion of at least two years of an undergraduate degree
• Extremely detail-oriented and self-motivated
• Able to work well in a team environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Willing to tackle challenging problems and hungry to learn
• Adaptable and self-motivated
