Job Description

*Part-Time Optometrist with Potential Ownership Opportunity in Lakeview, Oregon*

Klamath Eye Center is searching for an Optometrist to work 3/5 time (3 days/week) in its Lakeview office. The potential exists to grow this to more clinic days and to purchase the practice and continue operating with support from the Ophthalmologists at Klamath Eye Center.

We have been providing a broad spectrum of optometric and ophthalmologic care for over thirty years. Our offices offer modern amenities such as OCT, fundus imaging and Humphrey Visual Field on site. Each office has a full optical department and is staffed with technician support and opticians.

Lakeview is a small rural town of approximately 2500 people in Southeast Oregon, about 13 miles North of the California border. This area is part of the Oregon high desert region and receives an average of 225 sunny days per year. Outdoor enthusiasts will find a wealth of open space for fishing, hunting, hiking, biking, camping and skiing. Prior Optometrists have enjoyed connecting with the community and their patients in this welcoming small town.

Klamath Falls, our primary, larger practice location, is about an hour and a half drive. For those that still want access to big city excitement, you can drive to Bend, Oregon in less than 3 hours, Reno, Nevada in under 4 hours, and Sacramento, California or Boise, Idaho in less than 6 hours.

This is a great opportunity for someone currently in practice to immerse themselves in a smaller community and grow an eyecare business that comes equipped with a wonderful staff and modern equipment. Additionally, there is the ability to add more days of work in our other offices if desired.
