Pharmaceutical Lab ManagerJob Description Manage and coordinate all lab functions, including analytical and microbiological testing, while ensuring regulatory compliance of processes and procedures. Provide leadership and direction to lab staff, contributing to overall efficiency and effectiveness of the resource. Assure compliance of all products with regulatory and customer requirements, and advise management on specification failures and recommendations for corrective action. Recognize and react to product and process quality problems, lead problem-solving efforts, and recommend disposition and corrective action. Manage non-conformance files, out-of-specification files, and corrective action processes. Establish specifications for packaging components, bulk solutions, and in-process and finished products. Maintain document control processes, master label files, and product standards. Conduct audits per procedural requirements and perform various tests to determine material compliance with specifications and standards. Participate in developing and approving standard operating procedures, validations, and other activities to support production processes. Ensure all procedures comply with FDA GMPs and other regulatory requirements. Administer the stability program and manage departmental functions including training and staff performance. Ensure laboratory group complies with safety requirements. Lead continuous improvement and efficiency projects related to lab processes and materials. Review lot production and control records for accuracy and completeness. Conduct daily instrument checks and record results as needed. Participate in customer and regulatory audits as needed. Must Have 3-5 years of Lab Management Experience MUST BE IN Pharma, Food, Cosmetics, Drug Manufacturing, Personal Care Products or OTC products Chemistry and Analytical Testing experience Regulatory Compliance Experience FDA GMP Compliance BS Degree in Science or Math Job Type This is a permanent position.
