Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides care for patients and performs all duties directly involved with procedures utilizing ionizing radiation for diagnostic or interventional procedures in accordance with ALARA standards. Operates equipment setting appropriate technical factors to produce diagnostic quality images according to radiology practice standards, minimize patient dose, and relay images along with pertinent clinical information to the physician for interpretation. Scrubs and circulates in procedures assisting the Interventionalist. Assists with inventory management and patient scheduling. Takes on-call as assigned to provide after-hours emergency coverage.

Qualifications
EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:
Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist program. Completed training in Special Procedures.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:
1 year related experience in special procedures.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
Demonstrated communications and customer service skills, success in organizing work, computer skills, and ability to multi-task.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Required: State of Florida HRS Licensure as a "General Radiographer".
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
Preferred: ARRT Registration RT & VI or CV.

⦁ Looking for someone who has acute hospital exp in interventional/special procedures
⦁ Looking for 1 year of experience
⦁ VI - vascular interventional registry is highly desired if found
⦁ Will accept someone who has been through cardiovascular school

On call: must live/ be within 30min while on call- (call frequency is twice during the week, and every third week-end)

Shifts: M- Sat- rotating 4 10s/ 4 days (6:30 AM- 5 PM)


Sal: 24 - 35 (17 yr)
On call: $4
