Fabtration LLC is now Hiring Industrial Painters!!
Fabtration LLC is a steel manufacturing company that has been fabricating custom engineered projects for customers in the material handling, asphalt and automotive industries for over 15 years. We are currently seeking a skilled industrial painter to paint the large scale steel machinery manufactured on site according to customer specs.

Fabtration is currently seeking a detail-oriented individual to complete our projects by priming, sanding, and painting our products. The ideal candidate for this role will have an eye for quality and be able to see small details like paint runs, chips, spatter and color discrepancies. The person in this position will also keep the paint station clean and organized to maintain the longevity of our paint systems as well as limiting the amount of paint waste by utilizing the paint tools and products efficiently.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare the surfaces of each project by sanding, wiping, cleaning and inspecting the project to make sure it is complete and ready to move beyond the fabrication stage of production.
• Operate airless paint spraying equipment to apply paint and primer effectively and smoothly with no runs, spatter or chips.
• Use measuring instruments and basic math skills to mix hardeners, thinners, paints and primers with accurate ratios according to product specs.
• Handle materials safely using forklifts and cranes to transport parts for painting.
• Follow safety protocols related to welding, machining, and the use of hot work during painting processes.

What we are looking for:

• Proficiency with industrial painting methods such as airless painting systems
• Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication, machining, and welding are a plus.
• Experience operating forklifts and cranes a plus
• Strong understanding of materials handled within steel manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment care
• Ability to manage time and give accurate estimates for when a paint job may be completed.

Starting pay for this position is based off experience. Fabtration is happy to consider those interested in part-time positions as well as full-time.
