Dedmon Estimating, LLC is a fast-growing estimating firm that specializes in insurance restoration estimating. We’re able to estimate the many perils of loss, but many of our clients are within the roofing industry. We operate as a remote third party that increases our customers’ bottom line by increasing insurance restoration estimates to meet current building code standards and correcting errors or omissions presented within insurance carrier scopes of repair. Our clients operate nationwide. A few of the states we service are TN, TX, AR, KY, AL, OH, IN, GA, FL, MS, NC, SC, VA, DE, AZ, and NV. With the growth of our largest client and their addition of multiple franchises nationwide, we will need a quality teammate to maintain our high level of performance.
Dedmon Estimating, LLC’s Estimator Role Description
Our firm is looking for an experienced Xactimate estimator familiar with residential insurance restoration work. Most of the projects will be for roofing, siding, gutters, solar panels, fascia, soffit, miscellaneous exterior, and some low slope roofing applications. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience with construction, accessing and referencing and interpreting international residential building code, insurance restoration, and Xactimate estimating. Experience with insurance adjusting is preferred but not required. The high volume of projects will require a mastery of Xactimate and construction knowledge to maintain your workload. In addition, the candidate will be expected to identify supplement opportunities based on errors or omissions within an insurance carrier’s scope of repair. Strong analytical skills, computer skills, critical thinking skills, and phone skills are required. This role requires you to maintain professionalism when handling difficult scenarios involving insurance adjusters. Our team works together to achieve common goals with our clients and build relationships with insurance adjusters. This position will be remote after a few months of in-office training or fully remote for the right candidate.
Duties
· Review contracts and project photos to insurance scopes and identify supplement opportunities.
· Prepare supplement, document totals on shared Google Spreadsheet, and notify appropriate parties within Job Nimbus (CRM).
· Respond to activities in Job Nimbus CRM
· Complete all reviews in a timely manor
· Follow up on existing supplements via phone and email
· Assist Direct Supervisor and/or Owner with assigned task(s)
