Full Job DescriptionFreelance Live IllustratorPosition OverviewOur client is a marketing insights firm, and they are looking for two Live Illustrators to work with on a client project. The team will have a 90 minute call with the Illustrators before the project, and the onsite work-shop will be in Manhattan from 9:00am to 5:00pm on March 11th. The Live Illustrators will be bringing to life the core propositions/benefits of personal care (specific category to be disclosed upon signing an NDA) product concepts that are ideated/developed during an innovation work session. Approach: During the full-day workshop on March 11th in NYC (Manhattan), the client will be sharing insights gained from primary research conducted for a leading kids personal care brand. They will also be sharing Jobs to Be Done and Innovation Platform frameworks (and mood boards) as key inspiration for some initial ideation. The initial ideation will involve the client and and their client working together to come up with product ideas to address Innovation Platforms. Role of the Illustrators: To sketch some of the ideas that the teams are excited about for the Innovation Platforms. This will involve the illustrators sketching, in real-time, ideas to help bring the ideas to life. Desired output is same-day sketches that help to communicate the core proposition/benefit of the products.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate real-time sketches that capture the core propositions and benefits of product ideas.Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and translate abstract ideas into visual representations.Utilize various illustration techniques and styles to enhance the overall message and engagement of the event.Work closely with event organizers to ensure that the illustrations meet project requirements and deadlines.QualificationsProven experience as a live illustrator or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.Excellent drawing skills and proficiency in various illustration techniques.Ability to visualize and communicate abstract ideas effectively through illustrations.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with clients and teams.Experience in product concepting and a creative approach to problem-solving.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
