Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking an experienced fuel truck/oiler driver with an active CDL A, and Tanker and Hazmat endorsements for our ongoing highway and bridge project in Covington, LA. Candidates will be required to operate fuel truck, fuel and grease heavy equipment and provide fluids as needed for the equipment.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• CDL A required with Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Report to and assist immediate supervisor.
• Self-motivated and capable of following directions and effectively work in a team environment.
• Maintain accurate record keeping of all daily tasks.
• Keep work area and machines clean and free of excessive oil and grease.
• Perform visual inspections on equipment and provide written report of conditions and deficiencies.
• Service a wide variety of construction equipment including cranes, pavers, dirt equipment, plant equipment and other types of machinery.
• Flexibility to work seven days a week if needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to pass physical examination, pre-employment if necessary, and as required by the company.
• Able to climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, stairways, etc.
• Able to carry 50 lbs. of tool and/or materials. It is recommended to get assistance to lift items over 50 lbs. Check with your project supervisor or project safety director.
• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work extended hours on your feet on uneven surfaces (dirt, concrete, asphalt, mud, gravel, etc.)
