Overview Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Facility Inpatient Coder for an innovative health-tech company focused on transforming the medical coding industry. This is a full-time remote position. Responsibilities Review medical records and physician documentation to assign accurate facility inpatient codes Ensure coding quality and productivity standards are met Collaborate with coding team to improve coding outcomes Correct codes as needed to maintain compliance and accuracy Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Support continuous improvement of coding processes and workflows Qualifications Working knowledge of medical coding guidelines and systems Experience with facility inpatient coding (DRG, ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS) Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and policy compliance issues in coding Compensation and Benefits Full-time remote opportunity Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) and life insurance Paid time off and holidays About our search firm Scion Staffing is a national award-winning staffing firm.
