About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Safari Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure the park's mission and goals are met. This includes managing a diverse team, developing and implementing conservation and education programs, and fostering relationships with stakeholders, donors, and the community. The Executive Director will also be tasked with overseeing the park's budget, fundraising efforts, and ensuring the highest standards of animal care and welfare. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the Safari Park should have a proven track record in a leadership role, preferably within a related field such as conservation, wildlife management, or education. A deep understanding of and commitment to the principles of conservation and animal welfare is essential. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to inspire and engage others, and a strong background in financial management and fundraising. A relevant advanced degree is often preferred, and experience in a similar setting is a significant advantage.
