Job Description
We’re hiring a Dispatcher (Logistics Coordinator) to join our growing Expedite Department in Independence, MO. This is a full-time, in-office role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take charge of logistics and operations.You’ll play a key part in coordinating time-sensitive shipments across the U.S. and Canada, managing communication with drivers and customers, and helping us maintain top-tier service. Responsibilities
Dispatch and manage expedited freight and NFO freight across the U.S. and Canada
Source loads from load boards and existing customer relationships
Communicate clearly with drivers, carriers, customers, and internal teams
Monitor delivery timelines and resolve any service issues
Maintain accurate dispatch records and load documentation
Assist with quoting, tracking, and updating shipment statuses
Respond quickly and professionally in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
Strong communication and multitasking abilities
Comfortable working with Gmail
Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office and web-based tools
Organized and detail-oriented
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and prioritize tasks
Reliable and punctual with a team-first attitude
Experience in logistics (ground and air), dispatch, or transportation is a plus
Compensation
Pay: Hourly $21- $26 plus Commission.
