We are supporting a Dispatcher with our client in South Atlanta! This person will schedule, assign, and dispatch drivers, vehicles, and intermodal shipments - immediate need!

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and monitor deliveries, routes, and arrival times to ensure on-time performance.
• Communicate effectively with drivers and field staff to provide instructions, address delays, and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain accurate records of routes, mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times in dispatch software or logs.
• Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and customer service teams to manage scheduling and shipment updates.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, DOT regulations, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in dispatch, transportation, or logistics coordination.
• Proficient in dispatch or logistics software, Microsoft Office Suite, and GPS tracking systems.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, transportation compliance, and routing best practices.
