Our client located in Mason City, Iowa is currently looking for an experienced CRNA to fill an ongoing contract.Details:Schedule: 7a - 3:30p Mon-Fri. Locum will very rarely be asked to stay late.Sporadic ongoing coverage. Facility will confirm 1 week at a time. Call is Required. Details below.Cerner & paper chartingLevel IIIThe really sick peds and truly complicated trauma is almost always shipped outThere is always a physician on 2nd call to back them up if there is overlap in patient volume or if the case is a trauma they dont think they can handle Types of cases: OB, General surgery, GI, Bariatric, Uro, Ortho, Neuro, Cardiothoracic, some ENT (most of it is done at the local ASC), some peds. MercyOne is a Level 3 trauma center, so really complex cases are stabilized then sent to a tertiary center. Weekend Call Requirements:Must be able/comfortable with OB/epidurals, some trauma, some spine, simple peds cases, bread and butter stuff to cover call. No hearts.Must stay in Mason City while on call (10 min response time) Must be available to cover 1 weekend per month Certification Requirements:NBCRNA - RequiredMust be available to cover the dates listed above to avoid being redirected - RequiredBLS & ACLS - RequiredIowa License or IMLC - Required DEA and CSR - Required Clean record/license needed for quick credentialing - RequiredMust be able to meet Call Requirements - Required, note at time of name clear Must have proof of COVID-19 Vaccine - Required - (please list verbal confirmation at time of name clear)
