Position Overview
  • Title: Clinical Pharmacist | Emergency & Critical Care | State College, PA | Permanent

This is a permanent, full-time hospital-based opportunity with schedule flexibility, relocation support, and growth potential baked in.

  • Location: State College, PA area

  • Schedule: Primarily Day Shifts | 8-hour shifts | Rotating Days/Afternoons

  • Start Date: Flexible (ASAP preferred)

  • Relocation: Yes Assistance available on a case-by-case basis

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a unit-based clinical pharmacist in both the Emergency Department and Critical Care Unit

  • Review, verify, and manage plex medication orders with attention to patient-specific factors

  • Participate in acute care scenarios such as cardiac arrest, stroke, trauma, and sepsis response

  • Provide drug therapy monitoring, dosing consults, and drug information to multidisciplinary teams

  • Actively contribute to the hospitals antibiotic stewardship program

  • Attend rounds and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members

  • Maintain full documentation and pliance within Meditech systems

Job Requirements
  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharm.D (required)

  • PGY1 Residency or at least 3 years of current clinical hospital experience

  • Pennsylvania Pharmacist License or the ability to obtain it (out-of-state candidates wele)

  • Clinical confidence in ED, ICU, or multi-specialty inpatient environments

  • Familiarity with Meditech and a strong working knowledge of clinical consult protocols
