Assist with opening and closing daily under dual control.
Process teller transactions, credit card advances, scan checks, and successfully balance daily.
Place appropriate holds on check deposits/transactions.
Process CTRs and SARs as required within regulatory guidelines.
Process OFAC on non-member transactions and other items as required by regulations.
Issue official checks.
Balance and add cash to the ATM and CDM
Review and contact negative account holders.
Open new accounts, including IRAs.
Scan documents into share drive and file server.
Perform maintenance on accounts.
Attend training sessions.
Process teller reports.
Respond to online and email inquiries, process online change requests.
Monitor bad addresses by processing returned mail and electronic statement reports.
Process deposits under dual control daily.
Assist with dual control, balancing and adding cash to the ATM, CDM, and vault.
Service members by walk-in, drive thru, and over the telephone.
Enter and process debit card disputes and service from start to finish.
Perform notary duties under State of Florida guidelines (become a notary if not currently a notary)
Receive direction from managers and exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures
Escalate questions and issues to more experienced teammates when required
Engage and interact with members, teammates, and individuals to demonstrate care, build and maintain relationships, and complete requested transactions
Identify information and sell the credit union’s products and services to meet member’s financial needs while working with teammates
Educate and connect members to technology and share the value
Identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss
Respond to online and email inquiries
Open new accounts
Attend training sessions
Additional duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
~1+ year(s) of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, experience, or education
~ Cash handling, customer service, and sales experience
~ Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and team members
~ Ability to work a schedule based upon the credit union’s needs
~ Strong relationship management skills
~ Proficient in cash handling management responsibilities accurately
~ Well-organized, independent and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
~ Ability to exercise good judgment, raise questions to management, and adhere to policy guidelines
Preferred Qualifications
Assist with gathering requested documents for audits.
Prior experience in a credit union, bank or, financial services environment is advantageous
