Our client, a leader in their industry, has an excellent opportunity for an AWS Solutions Architect to work on a 12-month + contract position working on a hybrid basis in Charlotte, NC. The pay rate is in the $70/hour to $73/hour w-2 range. This position is available for W-2 only and operates on a hybrid schedule, working onsite twice weekly.

Responsibilities of the AWS Solutions Architect: •Accelerate the ability to build and migrate applications and workloads to AWS.
•Work with a team of Digital Solution architects and Centers of Practice/Excellence (CoP/CoE) within the client.
•Architect and design artifacts across Cloud, Web, Mobile, AI, API, SaaS, and COTS products.
•Create technical designs in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture, Application Product teams, and Infrastructure teams.
•Provide technical leadership and guidance during the features' development, testing, and delivery phases.
Requirements for the AWS Solutions Architect: •5+ years of experience in AWS Cloud Engineering and/or Architecture
•Experience helping product teams through cloud migrations using AWS technologies such as Terraform, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, Athena, EC2, EKS, and EMR.
•Strong background in architecting complex Big Data and AI/ML analytics product migrations to the cloud (AWS).
•Proven track record of managing multiple projects and advising teams on cloud migration projects
•Expertise in multiple SDLC methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
