FoxTrot Aviation Services is seeking a relentless, hardworking Operations Manager at Tucson International Airport (KTUS) who is committed to delivering reliable quality service, building strong customer relationships, and leading a team through the grueling, hands-on work of aircraft cleaning and CIC removal. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM (First Shift)

Experience: 1–3 years management or supervisory experience preferred

Requirements: Must be willing and able to perform very physical, demanding work in full PPE, including respirator use, often in hot and challenging conditions. Flexibility for schedule changes required. Key Responsibilities1. Deliver Reliable, High-Quality Service (60% hands-on, 40% office)

• Lead CIC removal projects—scraping, wiping, and cleaning corrosion-inhibiting compounds from structural aircraft components
• Work in excessive PPE, including respirators, gloves, and protective suits, for extended periods
• Supervise aircraft polishing, washing, and interior detailing jobs
• Safely operate buffing machines, carpet cleaners, ladders, and lifts
• Ensure every job is completed to strict FoxTrot quality and safety standards
• Manage crew sizes to handle aircraft of all shapes and sizes
• Maintain stock inventory and coordinate supply orders

Success Metric: 100% checklist compliance, no quality complaints, and aircraft ready for inspection on time2. Maintain & Grow Customer Relationships

• Act as the daily point of contact for hangar personnel and flight departments
• Adjust schedules to meet evolving customer needs
• Ensure the team has consistent hours to meet company goals
• Partner with leadership to upsell services where appropriate
• Build strong professional relationships in the hangar and across the ramp

Success Metric: Hitting revenue targets and receiving direct positive feedback from customers3. Build & Lead a Rock-Solid Team

• Motivate team members through physically taxing, PPE-heavy environments
• Train crews in safe CIC removal and aircraft detailing techniques
• Recruit, hire, and onboard new staff in line with FoxTrot's 5 core values: GRIT, Solidarity, Client Focus, Safety, Accountability
• Provide coaching, documentation, and advancement opportunities
• Support other FoxTrot stations when needed to strengthen the network
• Oversee company vehicle maintenance and expense tracking

Success Metric: Less than 35% annual full-time turnover at the stationSkills & Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, twist, and work long hours in respirators and full PPE
• Comfort working in hot, enclosed spaces and completing repetitive manual labor
• High attention to detail even under physically demanding conditions
• Medically cleared to operate heavy machinery and wear respirators
• Excellent communicator, available by phone with a consistent number 24/7
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must pass airport badging requirements: background check & drug screening

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $60,000 – $62,500 annually (Non-Exempt)
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance (after 60 days)
