Job Description
Wellness Coach to help our Veterans adopt a healthier lifestyle though a combination of these skills: diet, healthy habits, and physical exercise. Primary job responsibilities include teaching Yoga, Reiki, suggesting healthier food choices, facilitating a group cooking class, helping clients formulate health goals, and .
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Yoga group classes or one on one
2. Reiki
3. Healthy Cooking Classes
4. Mindfulness groups or one on one
5. Encourage activities, groups or one on one
6. Teaching a Whole life approach with our Veterans
Qualifications:
1. Certification in Yoga and Reiki and able to teach small classes or do one on one sessions
2. Have a Whole Health philosophy to help Veterans with making healthier choices in their lives
3. Compassion and desire to work with Veteran community with a multitude of diagnosis
4. Confidentiality for residents is a must
5. Strong work ethic and a desire to succeed
6. Must be flexible and able to work 20 hours a week, weekends are acceptable
7. Must be able to work as a team.
8. Good communication skills and be able to multi task
9. Must have a High School Diploma or higher level of education;
10. Proficient in basic written and spoken English
11. Proficient in the use of technology, including computing and cellular phones
12. Valid driver’s license
