Job Description

Title: Life Underwriter

Location: Remote

Duration: 3-5 months

Looking for are Life underwriters with experience working with electronic health records and other types of digital health data.
They should also be experienced with all traditional underwriting evidence, especially Attending Physician Statements and have experience in the US market.
Minimum experience probably 10 years, but I would be open to less experience for the right person.
Anyone with project exposure would be a plus.
The project goal is to assess the value of electronic health records in the risk selection process.
The contractors will be reviewing previously underwritten files supplied by Client s clients.
Underwriters will be asked to come to an underwriting decision using Client s criteria.
We will need clear documentation regarding the findings in the file and the reason for their decisions. There will be no insurance risk to client from their underwriting decisions.
Remote availability with Client laptops provided.
