Job Summary TSA - Technology Coordinator/Integration Specialist
The successful candidate will provide leadership across the school's K-12 program by overseeing the effective integration of digital tools and best practices into curriculum and administrative systems; providing leadership to site and district staff; facilitating the organization, delivery and communication of professional development related to technology. Additionally, the candidate will integrate an effective implementation of Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and the innovative development of 21st century learning environments to enhance student learning, achievement, and access. The candidate's oversight will include partnering closely with the information technology (IT) department and academic leaders at the school and district in pursuit of shared strategic visions, mentoring and supporting teachers to enhance their curriculum and pedagogy, and act as a leader in the effective and creative use of technology and 21st-century teaching and learning practices. The candidate will not evaluate any staff.
Requirements / Qualifications •Valid California Multiple Subject, Single Subject or Administrative Credential.
•Advanced degree in Educational Technology, or an advanced degree in a field related to the functions of the position.
•Experience working with children and variety of teaching experience in a K-12 environment.
•Experience managing projects, including those involving integration of technology and innovation in classroom settings.
•Broad and deep knowledge of best practices in the use of technology in schools.
•Strong familiarity with and commitment to objectives of 21st-century learning
•Training/certification in teaching coding to students
•Experience with a range of software, hardware, and operating systems.
•Experience with guiding the professional learning of educators.
•Ability to motivate and lead students, teachers, and staff at all technology proficiency levels.
•Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with co-workers and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner that is conductive to learning
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
•Fingerprint and tuberculosis clearances as required by law
•Google Certified preferred
