Hybrid/Remote opportunities; No Nights, Weekends, or Holidays!

Expectation will be to be on -site in Hartford, CT as needed on a regular basis

We are offering an amazing opportunity to join our Telephone Triage RN team in our Access Center (Call center) supporting Hartford Healthcare Medical Group patient’s gain access to appropriate and timely care specific to them. This position has the opportunity to be hybrid/remote, work from home position after training has been completed, contingent upon meeting all standard quality and performance criteria and having a suitable home office that meets Access Center standards. 

 

Job Description:

The Triage Registered Nurse-Access Center is a member of the Access care team, responsible for using decision making skills to assess patient needs. The Triage Nurse will apply clinical knowledge and judgment and use decision making skills to analyze and act on patient care issues. The RN will be providing clinical support in assessment of symptoms, determination of symptom acuity, offering information related to symptom management, patient education and care coordinator. While answering calls demonstrates ability to initiate appropriate nursing interventions in prompt, precise and a professional manner. Assists patients and family members or other clients with concern and empathy. Direct involvement with Access Center staff in medical education that will help in delivery of great Access Center Care.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience
• Knowledge of computer and medical systems
• Current State of CT RN license and current CPR certification (*CPR cert required within 6 months of hire)
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
