Job Description & Requirements1.\tMaintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
2.\tAssesses needs of patients as assigned based on data collected through history, observation, physical examination and analysis of diagnostic data.
3.\tDelegates, supervises, and evaluates the activities of other team members while simultaneously executing immediate directives and interventions in urgent or emergent situations.
4.\tProvides appropriate nursing interventions, consistent with the Plan of Care and standards of practice, incorporating the Physician's prescribed medical plans of care.
5.\tUsing service excellence standards, completes verification of Safe Surgery checklist
6.\tRecords all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms
7.\tUtilizes appropriate health and safety equipment to protect both patient and staff by assuming duties within or out of the sterile field as assigned
8.\tPreps operating room for patient/procedure
9.\tContributes to the daily efficient performance of the department
10.\tPosition and prepare patient on operating table
11.\tServes as the communication liaison to family and members of the operating team
12.\tDemonstrates continued professional growth through setting goals and participating in educational offerings.
13.\tPerforms other position-related duties as assigned, depending on assignment setting
14.\tWillingly participates in assigned call as scheduled.
15.\tComputer skill- Knowledge of computer programs utilized to delivery patient care.
16.\t Assists in control and maintenance of supplies and equipment
17.\tPerforms all circulating duties with efficiency and speed
