Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Greensboro, North Carolina.

    Shift:

  • 3x12s – Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
  • Weekend and holiday rotation required
  • No call
  • Contract Length: 12 weeks (84 days)
    Guaranteed Hours: Yes

     

    📋 Key Details

  • Unit: 5 West – 34-bed General Medical PCU
  • Patient Diagnoses Include:
    • Primary: Stroke
    • Others: Renal disorders, sepsis, endocrine, GI, hematology
  • Telemetry: All beds monitored via Centralized Cardiac Monitoring Department (CCMD)
  • Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5

     

    🧠 Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum Experience: 2 years (first-time travelers OK )
  • Must-Have Clinical Skills:

    • Cardiac telemetry & dysrhythmia interpretation/management
    • Titration of cardiac, vasoactive, and insulin drips
    • Peripheral line and PICC line management
    • Blood product administration
    • Tracheostomy and wound care

     

    Required Certifications:

    • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
  • Charting: EPIC experience required
  • Floating: Required to all Cone campuses as needed
