Seven Healthcare is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room for an assignment in San Antonio, TX. This Operating Room RN travel position offers five 8-hour evening shifts per week (40 hours) with a weekly pay rate of $2,275.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room

• Provide perioperative nursing care, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative support, and postoperative handoff.
• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety.
• Administer medications, monitor anesthesia, and maintain patient stability throughout surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-operative care instructions.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in line with OR and facility standards.
• Promote patient safety and deliver evidence-based perioperative care.

Requirements for the Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room Role

• Active Texas RN license or eligibility.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; CNOR preferred.
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent OR or perioperative nursing experience.
• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
