We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Title Examiner to join our growing team.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Title Examiner to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for examining public records and title documents to determine the legal condition of property titles. Your work is crucial in identifying issues that may affect property ownership, helping to ensure a smooth and secure closing process for real estate transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine title orders, real estate records, and legal documents to determine property ownership and identify any defects, encumbrances, or title issues.
  • Analyze deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, and plats.
  • Prepare clear and accurate title commitments, preliminary title reports, and summaries.
  • Work closely with underwriters, attorneys, escrow officers, and lenders to resolve title issues.

Qualifications:

  • Job Type: Full-time position
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Title Examiner in the real estate/title industry.
  • Strong understanding of real property law, title insurance, and title curative work.
  • Proficiency in Softpro Select title/escrow software and Microsoft Office Suite preferred, but not required.
  • Familiarity with title plant systems and public record searches.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
