As a Textile Designer, you’ll be immersed in a collaborative environment, contributing your expertise to the development of cutting-edge textile designs. Your creativity will be essential in crafting visually appealing and market-relevant patterns, while maintaining the brand’s unique design philosophy. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend your artistic vision with strategic design thinking, contributing to the ongoing success of a dynamic and rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities:

• Develop contemporary and trend-forward textile designs that align with the brand’s aesthetic.
• Collaborate with fellow designers and creative leaders, actively participating in design discussions and iterations.
• Effectively manage priorities, meet deadlines, and contribute to team projects.
• Create and maintain organized and accurate design files, adhering to established specifications.
• Utilize strong communication skills to actively listen, ask pertinent questions, and take effective action.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Degree in Textile Design and related work experience.
• Proven experience in textile design, demonstrating a strong understanding of the design process and familiarity with engineered patterns.
• Exceptional Photoshop skills and technical design proficiency, including clean working techniques, file organization, and file management.
• A collaborative spirit and a commitment to team success through teamwork, hard work, and open communication.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor, including discretion and self-reflection.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt, demonstrating a clear understanding of creative direction and feedback.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Passion for home/interior design textiles, particularly rug/carpet design.
• Portfolio showcasing traditional, Persian, or ornate rug or textile patterns/designs.
• Proficiency in other design software, especially textile-specific programs.

Compensation:
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $75,000-95,000. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
