Job Title: Test Driver - Engineering
Location: Akron, OH (Onsite)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Test Driver - Engineering to manage and execute tire vehicle testing. This role involves scheduling tests, acquiring vehicles and wheels, ordering benchmark tires, collecting and analyzing test data, and generating official test reports. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with tire engineers, warehouse technicians, and other test drivers to enhance testing procedures. This position requires travel across North America to various test sites as needed.

• Oversee North American internal vehicle testing, primarily focusing on ride and handling.
• Schedule test tracks and obtain quotes through Proving Grounds.
• Arrange for the rental or acquisition of test vehicles and wheels.
• Manage tire/wheel mounting and shipping logistics.
• Conduct on-site data collection, generate reports, and communicate results to engineers.
• Coordinate external testing with third-party evaluators.
• Organize snow handling and traction testing.
• Work with tire engineers to enhance the data collection process.
• Ensure consistency in test procedures by aligning with other test drivers.
• Travel as required for testing programs.

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a tire test driver for vehicle testing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for data acquisition and analysis.
• Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Highly motivated, communicative, and eager to learn new testing methods and technologies.

• Experience in automotive OEM tire testing.
• Knowledge of tire engineering principles.
• Familiarity with tire mounting equipment operation.
