The Territory / Architectural Sales Representative (ASR) must be capable of selling industry leading brands and confidently build relationships with architects, consultants, owners and contractors. Candidates for this position must have a history of demonstrated technical sales success and thrive on the ongoing challenge of selling in a dynamic marketplace. Sales experience in commercial construction products is preferred. The required competencies for this position are: sales ability, technical aptitude and applied learning, territory strategic planning and execution, customer centric focus, demonstrated experience influencing others with a bias for action, balanced and focused organizational skills, tenacity, oral & written communication skills, teamwork and integrity. The position reports directly to the Director of Sales.

This position will require working a territory from Memphis (including parts of MS, MO and AR) to Nashville focusing on architects, consultants, owners and contractors. Candidate can physically reside in, or in between the Memphis and Nashville markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales of Products, Systems & Services – Meet or exceed the territory sales plan and be a contributing member of the sales/technical team
  • Territory Strategic Plan and Execution - Develop and execute an individual territory plan focused on delivering sales growth and meeting market development goals. This includes developing tactics which:
    • Align with our targeted sales approach aimed at architects, consultants, and owners with the outcome of selling our full line of products and systems from Johns Manville (a Berkshire Hathaway company), Georgia-Pacific, Greenrise Vegetative Roof and Paver Systems, Logistics Lighting, and WindSmart Vented Roof Systems
    • Incorporate our comprehensive CRM and sales pipeline platform in the selling process
  • Market Development – Meet or exceed the market development goals and create demand through generating project specifications and enhancing, collaborating, and managing relationships with architects and owners

  • Collaboration – Live the Larimer Shannon Group Cornerstones and as a teammate, the TSM will collaborate with the Inside Sales, Technical and Marketing Teams to deliver a great customer experience and align and execute on customer sales growth tactics ... customer by customer

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in sales, marketing or related discipline is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience required
