Job Overview

The Center for Children and Family at Florida International University is seeking a Temporary Human Resources Assistant to provide essential administrative support to the HR department. The role involves maintaining HR files, responding to employee inquiries, assisting with onboarding, preparing reports, and collaborating with central HR on new hires.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HR files and databases accurately (e.g., Redcap).
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
• Assist with onboarding activities for new hires.
• Prepare reports as needed.
• Work closely with central HR to onboard new and returning hires.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and at least 2 years of experience in an HR or related administrative role.

Work Schedule & Compensation

MondayFriday. $18.00 per hour.

• Criminal background check.
• Fingerprinting check.
