About the Role :

We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a passion for building a career in the staffing industry, whether in Recruiting or Sales. As an IT or Engineering-focused Recruiter, you will have the chance to develop your recruiting and sales career while learning the IT and/or Engineering solutions business from industry experts.

Your Impact :

As a Technical Recruiter, you will be at the heart of our delivery success. Through comprehensive coaching and training, you will learn every aspect of the IT/Engineering solutions and staffing business. At Spero, we believe in a meritocracy, where promotions are based on results. The top performers can promote into outside Sales roles within a 6–9-month period, if they so desire.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with sales to advise customers on industry best practices.
  • Work with sales leadership to create technical solutions and outsourced services for customers.
  • Develop strategies to identify qualified talent using various tools and resources.
  • Assess candidates’ strengths compared with clients’ requirements by screening and interviewing candidates.
  • Negotiate compensation packages and other employment conditions with top talent and consultants.
  • Manage technical consultants on projects, address consultant-related issues, and administer performance counseling, coaching, and disciplinary measures when necessary.
  • Partner with Business Development Managers to identify top accounts, target skill sets, key market segments, and assess clients’ staffing needs.
  • Maintain relationships with industry contacts to provide competent service, gain industry knowledge, and generate sales leads.

Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Management, or similar majors preferred, but not required.
  • Military experience or equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of a four-year degree.
  • Previous experience recruiting in Staffing Agency environment for:
  • IT: Technology Enablement, Data and Analytics, and PMO.
  • Engineering: all phases of EPC projects like Design, Engineering, and Construction Management.
