The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Sr. Front-End Web Developer.
Ideal candidates must have 8+ years of experience with UI/UX design and front-end web development. Experience within a corporate environment is required.
Responsibilities
This position will lead the front-end development and design efforts for Client’s external, corporate website. The work involves UI/UX design, client-side development, change activity support for projects and general website updates, documentation, testing, and maintenance activities
Front-end web development using modern techniques, languages, and frameworks — HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and responsive design.
Modify and create page templates utilizing markup and transformation languages, including XML and XSLT
Collaborate with web development team and business users on user-centered design strategy, as well as translate UX and business requirements into coded solutions
Develop functional front-end code that is cross-browser and multi-device compatible
Create front-end code that is SEO friendly and meets web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2)
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior front-end developer and team
Work closely with business users to perform front-end website change activities, including image modifications, layout changes, and page creation in accordance with a defined change management process
Monitor and analyze change requests to ensure alignment with website strategy and direction
Utilize advanced troubleshooting skills to resolve front-end website and application problems identified by business users
Execute website deployment and test plans, validating with business users
Effectively work with web development team members to support front-end issue resolution, project work, and website maintenance activities
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Preferred
Experience Required:
UI/UX design and front-end web development - 8+ years required
Experience performing front-end web development in a corporate environment - 3+ years required
HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery - 8+ years required
XML, XSLT - 8+ years required
C#, ASP.NET 8 - 3+ years required
Adobe Creative Cloud products to create website designs - 3+ years required
Advanced understanding of web development by coding with Microsoft Visual Studio (Not solely using WYSIWYG or GUI interfaces) - 8+ years required
Advanced understanding of web accessibility standards: WCAG 2.2 - 3+ years required
Experience developing front-end code that is cross-browser and multi-device compatible - 3+ years required
