Key Responsibilities :
Operational Management :
- Oversee scheduling for all Spa Consultants, ensuring proper staff coverage.
- Conduct regular inspections of the spa to maintain ambiance, cleanliness, health & safety, and equipment functionality.
- Handle client inquiries, problems, and complaints to maintain high client satisfaction.
- Manage inventory and ensure spa equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Maintain up-to-date membership records, including cancellations, renewals, and adherence to the 14-day cancellation policy.
- Perform opening and closing procedures daily.
- Recruit, hire, and train new spa staff, ensuring compliance with operational and health standards.
- Maintain accurate HR files, HIPPA compliance, licenses, and certifications.
- Audit discount codes, refunds, cancellations, and memberships; provide weekly reports to leadership.
- Manage and resolve credit card disputes, maintain suspension lists, and oversee collections and non-payments.
Sales & Marketing :
- Train staff on sales techniques for all spa services, including memberships, packages, and product sales.
- Develop and implement front desk procedures and sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Assist in creating in-house promotions and activities to stimulate sales and engage both clients and staff.
- Monitor sales performance, report insights to upper management, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Analyze customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Grow and maintain the membership base through targeted campaigns and retention programs.
- Collaborate with the CEO and regional manager to align sales goals with overall business objectives.
Customer Experience :
- Ensure consistent and positive customer experiences across all locations, focusing on delivering exceptional membership benefits and services.
- Monitor client feedback, identify improvement opportunities, and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Work with the regional manager to address any issues that may affect the customer experience.
Security, Health, and Safety :
- Prioritize customer safety and health during all sales and promotional activities.
- Train staff on health, safety, and emergency protocols, ensuring all staff are prepared and compliant with security procedures.
- Handle sensitive customer information securely, especially during payment processes and when accessing client records.
Continuing Education :
- Participate in industry-related continuing education to stay current on trends, best practices, and innovations.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Spa Manager or in a similar leadership role within the spa, wellness, or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of spa operations, sales techniques, and customer service best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, including staff scheduling, inventory, and finances.
- Proficiency in spa management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintaining operational excellence.
