Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems on residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, construction, and a passion for renewable energy. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with all regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Install solar panels on rooftops and ground-mounted systems according to blueprints and schematics.
• Collaborate with project managers and other installers to ensure timely completion of installations.
• Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement of solar systems.
• Perform electrical work including high voltage and low voltage connections, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Utilize tools such as voltmeters for testing electrical systems and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working at heights and around electrical equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during the installation process.

Experience

• Previous experience as a commercial electrician or in a similar role is great.
• Familiarity with reading blueprints and schematics is essential.
• Experience working on construction sites, particularly in roofing or fixture installation, is highly desirable.
• Ability to work with both high voltage and low voltage systems is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this position.
