We are Avco Roofing (Residential) and our team is currently on the hunt for an in-house digital marketing strategist! AVCO is a family-owned leading residential and commercial roofing company with over 10 years in business with a proven track record of success. We have worked hard to drill down the expectations, salary, and skillset we would like this marketing manager to have. Therefore, please pay close attention to the requirements we are after. Our team does not expect you to know every single aspect of marketing, but we do expect you to know quite a bit for this role. Found below, is a breakdown of ideal aspects and must-haves for this role. Don’t worry, we are not one of those companies that are looking for a marketing guru with 40 years of experience. BUT, we are in search of someone who will be with us long-term and has most of the requirements below.

The ideal candidate must be willing to spearhead all of our marketing tasks and initiatives with little to no micromanagement from our team. This ideal candidate will have an extremely strong marketing background and be highly motivated to meet our team’s monthly and quarterly goals. This role requires excellent communication skills, digital marketing skills, and the ability to learn, understand and target our ideal customer avatar online.

You will be a great fit for our team if you:

  • Are an extremely passionate, creative, motivated and driven individual that has a lot of background in the marketing arena 
  • Have a background in community marketing, digital marketing, content marketing, event marketing, brand marketing, acquisition marketing, public relations, and/or email marketing
  • You love to learn about creative design and look forward to designing and monitoring social media posts
  • You love to learn about what works and what does not in marketing and in business
  • Love reading data and figuring out what it means and how it tells a story in the results

Must haves to apply for this role:

  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing
  • Comprehensive brand awareness. We want this candidate to spearhead getting our name out there, recognized, and trusted! Complete training provided…can’t fail if you are willing to believe in us and yourself!
  • Facebook and Instagram paid ads: running ads on paid social media accounts (think ads manager)
  • Communication and writing skills - emails, ad copy, brochures, templates, scripts for videos, communicating with team members on leads coming in and who is following up with them etc. 
  • Know how to make visually appealing/ incredible designs utilizing Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Feel comfortable communicating with our internal team members on data and what strategies are currently in place
  • Feel comfortable keeping other team members accountable (sales team on leads, project managers to get photos taken etc)
  • Video experience - not required but we would like this new candidate to be willing to train on video creation. Editing video, adding sound to video and “directing the show” with our team members to get powerful brand awareness and lead gen video created. We will train this new candidate quite vigorously with video strategies and implementation, but past experience is ideal. We will use video in pay-per-click strategies, social media posts and much more
  • Creativity! We want your creativity brought to the table. Ideas for storytelling, videos, ideas for campaigns, and social media is what we are after! 

 

You will be a great fit for this role if your past roles have involved:

  • Daily use of Adobe Creative Suite 
  • Running retargeting ads on Meta Ads Manager
  • Google Ads expertise: your background in Google ads will be invaluable as you optimize our online advertising strategy and drive results
  • Driving content creation. Managing primary digital marketing channels including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and pay-per-click campaigns etc. We would like reels, stories, still image posts etc. to go out consistently each week
  • Knowing how to read data across Google, Facebook, and Instagram paid ad accounts
  • Have been in digital marketing in the past and know a LOT about Google, SEO, ad copy, headlines, visually appealing ads, and what sales
  • Know a little about lead nurturing, effective communication, and organizing strategies from start to finish

  • Diverse Lead Generation: You’ll be challenged to think outside the box and generate leads through a variety of sources beyond traditional social media channels.
  • Embrace AVCO Culture: As a Marketing Specialist, you’ll embody our values and contribute to our vibrant culture, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
  • Community Outreach: Engage with our community to build meaningful connections and promote our brand through grassroots initiatives. 
  • Storm Response Campaigns: Prepare and execute strategic campaigns to mobilize our response efforts during critical moments.
  • Recruiting Campaigns: Collaborate with our Chief Sales Officer to develop compelling recruiting campaigns that attract top talent to our team. 
  • Managing all aspects of our social media accounts

  • This role is a full-time in-house/non-remote position. 
  • We are seeking someone who will be dedicated to our team long-term! This is extremely important to our growth and our team’s overall goals and success. 
  • This position will be filled by August 30th, 2024
  • The salary for this position will be $45k-$60k depending on experience
