D3 Search is recruiting a Corporate & Entertainment Transactions Legal Assistant for an elite AMLAW ranked global law practice with a growing office located in Los Angeles, CA (90067)

Position Title:

Corporate & Entertainment Legal Assistant

• Note: 7+ years previous corporate transactions and entertainment transactional legal assistant experience in a LAW PRACTICE is REQUIRED.

Location/Map:

Los Angeles, CA (90067)

Employer Work Model:

Hybrid 4/1 work model (4 onsite & 1 remote).

Position Summary:

This Snr. Legal Assistant position will provide the firm's attorneys and clients with a superior level of technical and administrative support. Position will work within the law firm's corporate transactions, media, sport and entertainment transactions division/department.

Essential job functions include calendar management, coordinating travel, meetings and conference calls, heavy phone work and client interaction, etc.

Primary Responsibilities and/or Essential functions:

• Coordinate complex, senior-level internal/external meetings and conference calls.
• Handle a high volume of phone calls.
• Respond and follow up on client requests.
• Maintain complex and detailed calendars and prioritize meeting requests and related logistics.
• Coordinate a high volume of domestic and international travel arrangements and process business requests.
• Proofread and make revisions to documents as requested.
• Enter attorney’s time via 3E.
• Create, revise and format legal documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
• Conduct internet research as directed by attorneys.
• Establish and maintain paper and electronic files.
• Interface and establish ongoing positive business relationships with clients.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• 7+ years of legal assistant experience in a support capacity within a similar AMLAW ranked law firm is REQUIRED.
• Experience working in the entertainment industry preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong initiative; ability to exercise sound judgment, work independently and make decisions on behalf of attorneys.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; has the ability to work with different personalities in high-pressure situations.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks and juggle multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills; strong attention to detail.
• Team player; work well under pressure.
• Knowledge of Big Law or legal highly preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in all basic, advanced and legal specific applications.
• Demonstrate desire and ability to learn new technology and willingness to share knowledge to assist others.
• Self-starter who can manage competing priorities.
• No JDs will be considered.

Education/Certifications:

• BA/BS undergraduate degree highly preferred/not required per se.

Salary/Compensation:

Annual salary range is up to 120K (DOE/DOQ) plus a Class-A benefits pacakge.
