The Senior Investment Principal located in San Francisco will be a part of a diverse group that now requires an additional team player who will have wide-ranging, client-facing responsibilities. This role will be strongly focused on existing client management and new client business development.
This multi-faceted role requires someone who is comfortable in our entrepreneurial environment as we develop our business, combined with the analytical and creative strengths required to implement our investment strategy. Meticulous attention to detail, ability to think critically, and an execution-oriented, positive attitude are key attributes we look for. Excellent written and verbal communication competencies are required for interacting with clients, third parties, and firm leadership. Our goal is that this person remains with the firm over the long-term to help the West Coast office achieve its ambitious goals. Client Portfolio Management (50%): You will take the role of Chief Investment Officer (CIO) for your clients. This role includes:
Business Development (40%): You will contribute to building our business and brand on the West Coast, which will require an entrepreneurial attitude regarding all aspects of marketing and broader client development. You will be involved in business development process from start to finish, including researching, identifying, and tracking prospective clients. As part of your role, you will also have the opportunity to support our innovation efforts in building new lines of business.
Investment Research (10%): This will not be a focus for the role, but you may be occasionally accountable for the investment due diligence process of managers located on the West Coast – including sourcing and monitoring new investments and leading initial meetings in the research process.
Key responsibilities will be regularly assessed and are subject to change from time to time based on the needs of the business. The individual may be required to work overtime as needed.

California requires Partners Capital to include a reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role. This base salary range is specific to individuals applying to work in our San Francisco office and takes into account a number of factors. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role in San Francisco is $165,000 to $210,000. The base salary offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. The base salary is one element of our competitive compensation package. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives and our profit share program.
