As a Security Guard - Unarmed Site Patrol in Savannah, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with personnel and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business premises and surrounding perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and maintaining awareness of individuals entering and exiting the location.
• Communicate clearly with team members, site personnel, and/or visitors as needed to support security-related operations.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license from the job state is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
