Maternity Leave Sub for approximately 12 weeks - This is a 0.6 school psychologist position at the elementary level
Must possess and maintain proper certification by state law and the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction license #7062.
Demonstrated ability to:
work collaboratively
carry out emergency/crisis response procedures
perform all computer technology tasks associated with the position
maintain confidentiality and maintain legal and ethical practices
communicate positively/effectively with students, parents, staff, community members
Commitment to the Pulaski Board of Education Educational Philosophy
Demonstrated skills in positive human relations and cultural competence
Demonstrated skills in problem solving and conflict management
Knowledge and experience with psycho-educational evaluations
Ability to work collaboratively with students, professional staff, support staff, administrators and parents to improve the academic, social and emotional development of children with disabilities
Provide consultation to school and community agency personnel
Knowledge of IDEA and special education law and processes
Knowledge of Section 504 legislation and processes
Skills and knowledge related to RTI, PBIS and facilitation of building consultation teams (problem-solving teams)
Skills related to individual and small group intervention to address social, emotional, academic, and developmental needs
Data based decision making and accountability
Essential Job Functions:
Assist in developing programs for all students
Collect, analyze and interpret data to assist in the problem-solving processes to improve student performance and development
Keep abreast of developments in the field of school psychology so as to furnish leadership in determining appropriate instruction for each student
Must be able to:

concentrate and perform tasks accurately

perform other tasks as assigned by the Director of Student Services"
