Job Opportunity: Full-Time Occupational Therapist (Contract)

Location: Yuma, Arizona

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a full-time contract position in Yuma, Arizona. We are actively interviewing for this school-based role and welcome qualified professionals to apply.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Valid license or certification as an Occupational Therapist in Arizona, meeting all local and state regulations.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience working as an Occupational Therapist, with a strong preference for experience with special education students and families.

Job Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' occupational therapy needs, focusing on improving functional abilities and participation in school activities.
• Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, targeting areas such as handwriting, motor coordination, sensory integration, and adaptive equipment use.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' academic and functional goals, ensuring a coordinated approach to intervention.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
