The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, and maintenance of the Salesforce platform in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. This role will ensure optimal use of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Veeva, Sales Performance Management, Experience Cloud, and Marketing integrations to support commercial operations, field sales teams, and HCP/HCO engagement. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Compliance, and IT to implement scalable solutions that align with business goals and industry compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage user setup, profiles, roles, permissions, and access controls, ensuring alignment with compliance and commercial operations policies.
  • Perform configuration tasks including creation of objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, page layouts, and reports/dashboards.
  • Serve as the go-to expert for Salesforce platform functionality, supporting day-to-day user needs and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and implement CRM enhancements to support omnichannel field engagement and territory management.
  • Monitor data integrity, perform regular data maintenance, and support bulk data uploads and data migration activities using tools such as Data Loader and Workbench.
  • Support integration with third-party platforms including Pitcher, IQVIA, Veeva, and Marketing Cloud for HCP/HCO interactions and campaign tracking.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of system configurations, data flows, and user guides; ensure audit readiness in alignment with pharma regulatory standards.
  • Train users and provide ongoing support to ensure high adoption and effective use of CRM capabilities across commercial and medical teams.
  • Proficient in data mapping, cleansing, validation, transformation, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and integrity during system implementations, upgrades, or consolidations. Experienced with tools such as Salesforce Data Loader, Excel, SQL, and ETL frameworks.
  • Experience in Salesforce DevOps processes like Copado, including version control, automated deployments, user story promotion, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring release reliability and reducing deployment errors

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, preferably in the life sciences/pharmaceutical industry.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) required. Advanced Admin, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud and additional Salesforce certifications a plus.
  • Experience supporting regulated environments (GxP, compliance, audit).
  • Strong understanding of CRM data models, reporting, and pharma-specific use cases such as HCP targeting, sampling compliance, and territory alignment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
