Job Type: Registered Nurse - Med-Surg Inpatient Care
Schedule: Full-Time, 12 Hour Night Shifts (7 pm-7 am)
Position Overview Provide specialty professional nursing care on a medical-surgical unit, managing a diverse patient population within a supportive team environment. Using the nursing process, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation, you'll deliver high-quality care consistent with state regulations and facility standards. Teams typically maintain a maximum 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, enhancing patient connection and care quality.
Responsibilities - Deliver comprehensive nursing care for adult medical and surgical patients across multiple unit areas
- Execute the full nursing process to meet patient needs efficiently and safely
- Work collaboratively in a team-focused setting to deliver coordinated and compassionate care
- Float to other units such as surgical, swing bed, or rehab based on patient census and staffing
- Build strong patient relationships with consistency and thorough care

Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or compact license with eligibility
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Commitment to full-time night shift (7 pm-7 am)
Preferred Qualifications - Experience in a hospital-based medical-surgical unit preferred
