Position Overview: As the
Outside Regional Sales Manager , you will be at the forefront of Safeguard Industries' expansion in Las Vegas, NV. Working from the head office, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan to increase market share, drive revenue growth, and build lasting relationships with clients. Your consultative sales expertise will be crucial in identifying opportunities, nurturing leads, and providing tailored safety solutions.
Key Responsibilities: - Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed personal monthly sales goals by identifying new business opportunities.
- Client Site Visits & Surveys: Conduct on-site surveys for quotation purposes, utilizing your technical expertise to ensure accuracy and compliance with design standards.
- Develop Quotations: Create precise and competitive quotations based on customer inquiries and construction drawings.
- Present Solutions: Confidently present Safeguard's product lines to owners, architects, engineers, and contractors, highlighting the value and benefits of our offerings.
- Collaborate with Inside Sales Team: Work closely with our inside sales team to manage orders and projects, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Resolve Issues: Address and resolve any shipping, credit, or logistical challenges that may impact customer satisfaction and delivery timelines.
- Leverage Technology for Lead Generation: Utilize web-based tools to track construction projects and identify new sales opportunities.
- Market Analysis & Strategy: Conduct market research to identify trends and assist in the development of new products, enhancing our competitive edge.
- Database Management: Keep CRM systems up to date with all outreach activities, new contacts, and progress on leads.
- Drive Marketing Campaigns: Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns focusing on niche markets within your territory.
- Generate Indirect Sales: Identify potential markets, partners, and indirect sales opportunities to expand Safeguard's reach.
- Follow-Up & Engagement: Proactively follow up on leads generated through advertising, referrals, and direct outreach to close deals and exceed sales goals.
- Support Leadership Initiatives: Assist the President, General Sales Manager, and other company directors with specific tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of technical, consultative B2B sales experience, ideally in industrial or construction-related fields.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and drawings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with a knack for recognizing sales opportunities.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with CRM and sales tracking tools.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Willingness to climb ladders (up to 10ft) and wear PPE for all site visits
