Are you passionate about ensuring software quality and enhancing user experiences? We're looking for a Quality Assurance Tester to join our team! In this role, you'll play a key part in testing and validating software applications, identifying issues, and contributing to a seamless and reliable product experience.

What You'll Do
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software meets functional and performance standards.
Perform manual and automated testing on various applications to verify compliance with specifications.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on software usability.
Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools.
Conduct regression testing after fixes or enhancements to ensure stability.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the QA process.
Troubleshoot software issues by analyzing logs and system behavior.
Maintain detailed documentation of testing processes, results, and defect reports.
What We're Looking For
Experience with test automation and software quality assurance processes.
Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, C#, or similar programming languages.
Familiarity with version control systems like GitLab.
Strong troubleshooting skills and an understanding of software debugging techniques.
Knowledge of business analysis principles to effectively interpret user requirements.
Understanding of computer networking concepts related to testing environments.
Experience with JDBC for database connectivity testing.
Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS) for deployment testing.
Proficiency in XML for data validation.
Position Details
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $45.94 - $49.01 per hour
Location: Hybrid remote in Lansing, MI (must be able to commute or relocate)
Experience: At least 1 year of test automation experience required
