Position Details The Department of Psychology in the College of Social Science, Mathematics & Education at The University of Tampa invites applications for part-time Instructors to teach General Psychology and other Psychology courses as needed.
Responsibilities will include: 1. Teach one or two 4-hour courses per semester.
2. Create a syllabus and other course related materials.
3. Teach according to departmental guidelines.
4. Provide meeting times for students and mentor students regarding their assignments.
5. Complete course grading and submit final grades on the on-line system.
The successful candidate will have: 1. Master's degree in Clinical, Social, Industrial and Organizational, Cognitive, Biopsychology, Developmental or General Psychology from a Department of Psychology. PhD or ABD in Psychology from a Psychology Department is preferred.
2. College-level teaching experience.

Additional Information Applications for part-time positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed by the department chair when openings become available. Future teaching assignments are on a term-by-term basis, which may include fall, spring and summer.
